June 6, 2022From the moment I walked through the door at Miracle-Ear, the difference in every aspect I have experienced compared with my old hearing aid company has been night and day.
I recently upgraded to the newly released Genius 5.0 technology. The first thing I noticed was the enhanced speech clarity, it was unbelievable! The way I hear all the sounds around me is also improved. The speech enhancements and the upgraded feature settings, such as the background noise filter, are far more superior to any other hearing aids I’ve worn before.
My first set of Miracle-Ear hearing aids were great quality, but the new ones have a distinctly different sound. And my prior hearing aids from another company — Well, they don’t even rank on a comparison chart compared to the Genius 5.0 technology.
Also, the rechargeable aspect is so much better than trying to change those tiny batteries. I can have my new aids in all day, and they are usually still around a 70% or higher charge that evening. This new technology is outstanding!
One of the differences I noticed with Miracle-Ear is the hearing evaluations. It was so much more in-depth. Sam explained my specific type of hearing loss and the levels of sound I’m missing. He also stressed why it’s important to protect the hearing I have left.
Sam walked me through the specific hearing aid prescription I needed and how it would change my hearing. He also described in detail how to use, care for, and wear my new hearing aids. The most important thing I noticed — I was not left to find help on my own for any issues or questions I might have after I walked out the door.
I have open access to help when I need it. And regular appointments for cleanings, maintenance checks, and yearly testing to maintain my custom prescription. It felt like my old hearing aid company just stuck the aids in my ears and away you went.
I think people would be more apt to use their hearing aids if they don’t have to figure out how to use them on their own or worry about finding or paying for aftercare services.
Sam and Brittany are both friendly and greet me by name every time I enter the office at the O’Fallon, MO, location. My appointments are always on time, and I always feel confident I’m receiving the best hearing aid care for my needs.
